This month we took such a fun trip to Miami, FL as a family. We enjoy the sun, water, and warm weather at the Eden Roc and wanted to share it with all of you!
When we travel, we always research the best hotels in the area which is especially important when we go somewhere with our little guy. After looking for days and reading tons of reviews, we decided on the Eden Roc along Miami Beach. As soon as we arrived, it was pretty evident why families loved it there; multiple pools, steps from the beach, food service everywhere, and places for kids to run around.
The rooms are so spacious and are built in a unique angle so that every single room has a view of the beach- which is so so dreamy to wake up to! Their cleaning crew was also so incredibly kind and molded to our nap and sleep schedule for Joshua from the first day. They restock all the necessities without us every having to ask and even hung our little guys clothes (so sweet!).
In the lobby there is a beautiful bar and huge seating area that carries to a patio in the back where you can order drinks and food any time of day. There’s also a built in full Starbucks in the lobby corner (which yes fine, that was our deciding factor), and also the famous restaurant Nobu in the other corner that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (Kids even have an included breakfast buffet!).
Once you make your way out of the lobby there’s a nice big space for the kids to run and play along with adorable boutiques on your way to the pool. The first pool is spacious, usually covered by shade, and perfect for your kids to play (and it’s heated which meant I could never get the boys out!) There’s also a little restaurant area that serves delicious food! They have amazing healthy options along with vegan and vegetarian ones. The restaurant’s menu is served throughout the pools so you can eat at the comfort of your seat as well. A little bit further is another pool overlooking the ocean and at the bottom of the stairs is their 3rd pool and bar area. This area has a ton of seating on grass and Joshua loved playing there.
From the bottom of the hotel the beat is one door away. There is great security so that only guests can come in and out with their code or room key. At the beach they also have a full service menu, bar, and included chairs and towels. It is so clean and there’s always seating available. Joshua LOVED it here. He played with the sand for hours a day, and the hotel also has a children’s area with toys so that you’re not always lugging around a set of your own.
The staff was so friendly and eager to help and we had such a great experience! The hotel is located just an 8 minute Uber ride from Lincoln Road, and is one a hotel strip where you can walk and try new eats (don’t miss the croissants at Fountain Bleu Hotel next door!). Wynwood walls is a 12 minute drive, where you can explore, grab some food at Mr. Smood, and take pictures in front of the painted walls. If you guys are looking for some time away, this is the perfect hotel for you!
