Finding products that are clean can be hard, especially when it comes to children. Most of us have always assumed that because these are intended for babies and toddlers they wouldn’t be made with toxic ingredient, but the reality is that majority of them are. When I check the most popular kids products and brands on EWG, they all rate a 6 or higher, showing multiple toxic and cancer linked ingredients in their formulations. Because of how many journals and studies have been done on these ingredients and their major affect on the body short and long term, our family tries to keep every house hold product “clean.”
